The spinning rod was a delight. Very light, strong, and sensitive. On the shore I compared it with the Kuying Hangetsu up to 27 g ¡ª my version (up to 19 g) pleased me a little more (although both rods are excellent). As the reel I paired it with a Daiwa Fuego 2500S.

I almost never write reviews, but this is a special case. The packaging is excellent, and I’m thrilled with the rod! It’s an elegant, springy killer of big perch ¡ª the action resembles the Arion, but just a touch slower. What impressed me most is how they did the joint ¡ª it feels like a one-piece blank (tubular), not a “mop with a nod,” giving the feel of a single solid rod. As for quality, no complaints, just as many have written ¡ª this is the best light rod I own. After trying it out, without a second thought I ordered the bigger Hangetsu (up to 27 g) ¡ª there’s no point going higher than that for my skill level. The Purelure Zero is also good, but the Hangetsu simply crushed it.

The rod arrived in reliable packaging. Like the previous ones, it’s assembled with great quality ¡ª the guides are aligned in a row, no lacquer overflow. Now I have the full Hangetsu collection (except the casting version). What can I say about the Hangetsu line: the blanks are very resonant, light, and sensitive. Last season I fished wholeheartedly with the two models I have ¡ª the shore version (up to 19 g) and the travel version for the city (up to 21 g). I really liked how the rod works ¡ª during fighting, the whole blank loads up. That’s why I wouldn’t recommend it specifically for trophy fishing. But for ordinary, more delicate fishing with catches up to 2¨C3 kg and lures within its casting range, it’s fire. I own rods that are three and four times more expensive, so I have something to compare it to ¡ª it would even give some Japanese rods a run for their money. I recommend it to all my friends. For this price, there’s genuinely no competition.
